Rover.com visited the Wind River Bear Institute kennel in Florence, Montana to film and interview with Director, Nils Pedersen, and Founder, Carrie Hunt, as they test and evaluate the 2019 Salla x Rio litter of Karelian Bear Dog puppies. We discuss the puppy testing and placement process and the important work that we have done for bear conservation over the past 25 years.
